"We love Okaloosa Island because it’s never crowded. So many delicious restaurants within 5 miles radius. Free beach service is so convenient. 4003 is a beautiful 1 bedroom unit with 1 large bathroom. We loved the roomy floor plan. Furniture in the living area is very nice and comfortable. We loved the balcony furniture. There is abundant storage available. The bunks in the hallway are not comfortable, thin and very hard. King bed in master is firm but comfortable. Booking is always simple and everyone is very helpful at Brooks & Shorey. I’ve used them for years.

"We really enjoyed our beach vacation staying at this location. The condo was clean and had plenty of storage space to be able to unpack and put everything away. The location was perfect with being right on the beach. The balcony was nice to sit out on early morning and evening with a beautiful view.

"We stayed at emerald towers west from Jan 1 to March 9 That place was very nice. It was clean,well equipped with everything the view was great and we enjoyed it a lot. Hannah and the people at Brooks and Shorey Resort were very nice. The only thing wrong was the mattress was sagging on one side. Great time

"This was a return visit to this very good one bedroom condo on the beach. Great views from the balcony. Enjoyed the complimentary beach umbrella and chairs. Also enjoyed one complimentary sunset cruise. Only issue was the WIFI and cable went in and out several times on our first few days. Brooks & Shorey were responsive if we needed them.

"We enjoyed the location of this condo. It’s a smaller condo, so the beach was not crowded. The chairs and umbrella already set up for us was a wonderful addition. We loved the bed set up. It was nice to be able to have a smaller condo for a weekend stay but still have a bed for each kid. It was clean other than the bunk beds had a good bit of sand in them. The sheets were for sure fresh, so we think it may have been trapped in the top blankets. The condo itself is in need of some repairs. There were a few spots on the ceiling that were coming off and several spots on the walls that were damaged. There was also a chair with a leg bent so we were scared to us that chair. Overall the condo worked for what we needed, but we did feel like we overpaid for what we got.

"The view and location was fantastic. However, the mattress needs to be replaced in the bedroom, the bathroom could use a paint job or a serious cleaning of the walls above and around the shower and the furniture in the living room and dining room are showing some wear. One of the chairs at the table has a leg that is unstable.

"The condo was nice, however the only dresser with drawers was broken. The drawers fell out when opened.
The best thing about the condo besides an Awesome View is the great water pressure in the shower!

Relaxing Excape

"The rental was a nice size unit for two adults. The couches/chairs were not very comfortable and there were a few cosmetic errors on the ceilings and walls (paint chipping/bulging). There were some leftover water bottles left under the bed and food in cracks of the couches, but all in all, it was a pretty clean unit. I know they don't have control over other units, but the walls are pretty thin so we could hear nextdoor neighbors. Also, other guests were smoking marijuana so that was off-putting to smell on the patio. But, the umbrellas on the beach were a wonderful addition and the beach itself was beautiful! A heads up though--this unit is not in walking distances of any restaurants (closest is 30 minutes away) so plan to get a rental car or uber.

"The Condo was nice and clean. The area was very crowded. The condo was like the pictures, however I would never stay there again. These condo's are so poorly built every time the people above us would get up to walk or run in some cases it sounded like they were in our condo. Also the Pot Smoking was a turn off.

"We had a wonderful time at the Condo. It was very clean and we loved the view! We enjoyed the bar size patio furniture too. It was a great place to sit and eat breakfast and look at the gorgeous view! The condo is in a great location and off the main strip away from all the traffic. It has an ocean view and it was amazing. The condo is well stocked with all the necessary items for cooking and washing your clothes. We enjoyed our stay greatly and will definitely love to stay again in the future!

"This condo is so nice, you can't go wrong. Everything was so clean and nice. Towels and extras were in abundance. The view is AMAZING! We found the bed to be very comfortable to our liking with plenty of pillows and blankets to spare. I can't recommend this condo enough. Would love to return some day! Brooks and Shorey Resorts management team was great. They helped me out with a package delivery of my meds that I left at another location and they were very helpful. Any time I spoke on the phone with them they were very nice. Thanks again to the owners of this lovely condo for sharing!

Perfect Getaway!

"The condo was very clean and well appointed. Everything we could need, in terms of kitchen supplies was there! It appeared as if the kitchen appliances were brand new. All of the furniture was very comfortable, the mattress in the bedroom was also comfortable. The view of the Gulf is incredible as the building sits on the beach. I liked that the pool area was in back of the building so there was nothing to restrict or distract from the view of the surf. We looked at booking again for next year, but unfortunately, it appears it is already booked for the dates we looked at. I would definitely recommend to others. Only one slight issue, the cleaning crew evidently forgot to leave washcloths! There was only One in the unit so I just bought a cheap bundle of washcloths at WalMart. It was no big deal, just a funny oversight!

"seriously, this vacation was pretty much near perfect! The condo was very clean and just what we needed for our stay. This was a special trip for us, as this was the 1st trip to the beach with our foster (soon to be adopted) son who is 2, almost 3! The absolute only thing I would of liked differently, would be that the pool was facing the ocean side, not the street side. We had a wonderful experience, from booking, to checking in and out. We will be renting this one again!

This is a lovely property, the management recently did lots of upgrades to the building and this unit has an absolute breathtaking view. Yes, the property at Emerald Towers West is arranged such that the pool is in the north side of the property right as you pull into the property. This is just the setup of the property itself, every one is different. This does provide a quiet and peaceful balcony experience however without having the noises from the pool being in your views. We do have lots of condos at properties on Okaloosa Island, the exact same views, that have the pool on the south/Gulf give us a call and let us know your interests so we can tell you all the options that meet your needs! We can't wait to have you back to the beautiful Emerald Coast!!

Okaloosa Island is as down home, laid-back and old-school as any beach community can be. You literally have to experience for yourself to truly understand why there is nothing else like it. Emerald Towers West is the perfect location to stay for a romantic getaway for two. Being on your private balcony, you see nothing but the gorgeous emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the endless silky soft white sands. There's nothing, not even a pool with lots of activity to interrupt sunrises and sunsets of the Emerald Coast. So glad you didn't have any issues!!! Please come back as soon as your schedule allows.

"This condo unit is beautifully decorated and updated. It has a welcoming feel to it and is very comfortable. The beach/gulf view is excellent-we saw numerous dolphins in the gulf. It was also very clean. We had an issue with one of the TVs and maintenance came right away (within 15 minutes) and resolved the problem. Have stayed in other units in this condo before but prefer to try and reserve unit 4003 as it is so tastefully decorated from the inside furniture and features to the outside balcony furniture. Would definitely recommend this property to a friend/relative without hesitation.

"We were very pleased with our stay at ETW 4003. The location was great, the condo was very clean, nicely decorated, well equiped and you just couldn't beat the view of the beach. The condo building was well maintained as well. The elevator was a little hot and sometimes musty smelling, but we were thankful to have an elevator in the building. "Overall, we enjoyed our stay in ETW 4003. The location and proximity to the beach is unbeatable. The unit was clean upon arrival and had all the necessities needed for a week on the beach. I would recommend this unit and location to anyone considering this property and unit. My only complaint would be the condition of the pull-out sofa bed. It was in terrible condition to say the least and should not be considered as an area suitable for guests to sleep. We had to buy an air mattress to put on top of the existing mattress. Otherwise, you could feel the bars underneath because the springs were broken and the mattress was too thin.

"Loved these condos! Had a fantastic time. Quick and easy pick up on key code, but got lost on the way to the condo. Loved how quiet the area and the beach was. Not crowed at all. But with that we did have to drive a lot to go do anything. Ended up going into Destin for just about everything, which was a 10-15 minute drive. But the quietness of the area was a good tradeoff.

"My wife and I totally enjoyed the rental. It is true that one gets what one pays for. I want to thank those at the office who were so very helpful and kind to us, especially the very kind British lady who allowed me to print my airline boarding passes from her computer.

The beach view was superb as was the balcony where I spent time to watch the sun come up in the morning and go down in the evening. Thank you so very much for your personal touch to make this so very enjoyable.

"My vacation rental experience was really smooth,I booked the place online on a Sunday afternoon and the following Monday morning I heard from the friendly staff, the customer service was always great. "We arrived early and stopped in to see if the room was ready. They said it wasn't but they would call us when it was. We left and went to get a drink and enjoy the beach. We received a call around 3:15 pm to say our room was ready for check in. We returned to the office to check in. The ladies working seemed unorganized and confused. They checked us in and handed us one key. We asked for another and they said they would try to get one. (which we never received) we left and started towards the condo but received a call that our room was in fact not ready. They said that it was still dirty and might possibly have maintance issues, and that may have to move to another room. So we turned back around and headed back to the office. We were then told that there were no other rooms they could offer us and that it would be ready in another 1 1/2 hours. We left and irritated and annoyed that they were so unorganized and made no apologies for their mistake. We would have been fine checking in at 5:00pm orignially but for them to call us and tell us the room was ready and then go back and forth was very unprofessional.We will not be using this property management again!
